Young is a Venture Partner of Big Basin Capital. He has founded and operated several start-up ventures with an inherent talent and track record for turning ideas into viable products and sustainable businesses.

Young is a co-founder and CEO of NComputing, the desktop virtualization technology company and the #3 thin client vendor worldwide (by IDC), with over 70,000 education and business customers and 20 million daily users in over 140 countries worldwide since 2003.
​
He founded Booga Ventures in 2009, a seed investment, advisory and mentoring firm dedicated to helping start-up computing technology companies located in Asia and the US and also participated as a co-founder of Primer in Korea, the leading startup accelerator in Korea.

Prior to co-founding NComputing in 2003, Young was the co-founder of eMachines (Nasdaq: EEEE, acquired by Gateway) in 1998, a company that delivered affordable desktop computers to consumers and accomplished billion dollar revenue in 18 months.
Young received his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He lives in Palo Alto with his family and is an active volunteer for several non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
