Taekkyung is a Venture Partner at Big Basin Capital.

 

In 2010, he co-founded Primer, Korea’s leading accelerator, and actively contributed to the domestic startup ecosystem. Later, he founded Mashup Ventures (formerly known as Mashup Angels) and has been leading early-stage venture investments as a Managing Partner. Through this, he has been making seed-round investments in numerous startups in Korea.

In 1995, he co-founded Daum, one of Korea’s leading portal sites, and served as CTO & Head of the C&C Division until 2008. He is also dedicated to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs as an adjunct professor at Yonsei University.

He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.
